Title: Elite Gold Edition **** (£40)
Port of the classic BBC game adds some features but fails to deliver the same addictive experience as the original. A beeping docking computer and ship movement which continually changes speed as the number of ships on screen increases and decreases make this game annoying. Still a classic game, but I prefer the original. Quadrupling the number of kills required in this version makes the game pathetically tedious.
